Please note: judge laptops are to be used only for work relating to processing voters. Using the computer for any other purpose or changing the settings are grounds for dismissal.

Consolidated General is April 1st.  We plan to have  47 polling locations across the county. That includes the 12 polling locations that will open as Early Voting sites. Early voting begins March 12th at Brookens.

Please make sure you are familiar with the contents of the Elections section of the Clerk's website. It has lots of useful information and will help you answer many questions from voters.

Visit the Election Judge Portal to mark your availability and complete the Election Judge training. 

  • Changing your availability will not remove you from any scheduled shifts. Please make sure to email our office if you have a chance in your schedule that doesn't allow you to serve and you are already scheduled.

Important dates to know:

  • March 12: Vote by Mail mailing begins 
  • March 12: Early Voting begins - Brookens Center, M-F 8:30am-4:30pm
  • March 13: Drop Box Collection begins
  • March 4: Paper Registration closes
  • March 5: Grace Period Registration and Voting starts
  • March 16: Online Voter Registration closes
  • March 24: Early Voting begins at additional sites, through March 31
  • March 27: Vote by Mail Request closes (online & mail)
  • March 31: Vote by Mail Request closes (in person, 4:30pm in the County Clerk's Office)
  • April 1: Election Day

Timesheet: Early Voting Election Judge/VBM

Direct Deposit Authorization Form - Please submit a new form to our office if your bank information has changed since you previously submitted. This form is optional. 

Payment Details - UPDATED

Current Pay Rates

  • Early Voting/VBM Election Judge: $15/hour
  • Drop Box ballot collector: $15/hour + mileage (rate below) 
  • Election Day Judge: $220/day
  • Election Day Setup: $10
  • Returning Supplies to ESB on Election Night: $5
  • Movers/Loaders: $17/hour
  • Penske Truck Drivers: $17/hour
  • ESB Election Night Organizers: $17/hour

If you do different types of election work with different hourly pay rates, you will be paid those hours at the lower hourly rate, as it is difficult for our payroll system to apply different pay rates for one individual. You can contact our office if you have any questions.

Mileage: The mileage reimbursement rate beginning January 1, 2024 will be 0.67 per mile.  This is an increase from the previous rate.

Additional Payroll forms required for individuals who will earn over $600 during the 2024 calendar year through temporary work with the Clerk's office who are not already being paid by our Kronos system.
